Attentive Child is designed to support your child’s ability to focus. Each ingredient has its own unique and powerful action. DMAE, a substance normally found in the brain, has been shown to help enhance mental concentration. DHA is a fatty acid the brain uses for its growth and function. Studies have shown that very active children may have special dietary needs for DHA, magnesium and zinc. Magnesium plays a role in neuromuscular transmission and activity. l-Aspartate, an amino acid, acts as a neurotransmitter. Grape seed extract is rich in proanthocyanidins, which have powerful antioxidant activity. Phosphatidylserine is a vital component of cell membranes, including those in the brain. Two wafers contain: Magnesium (from Magnesium Aspartate and Oxide) 100 mg; Zinc (as Zinc Picolinate) 2 mg L-Aspartate (from Magnesium Aspartate) 310 mg; DMAE (as DMAE Bitartrate) 100 mg; Standardized Soybean Lecithin (LECI-PS(r)) 50 mg; Yielding 40% Phosphatidylserine 20 mg; Phosphatidylcholine 6 mg; Phosphatidylethanolamine 3.5 mg; Phosphatidylinositol 1 mg; DHA (Docosahexaenoic Acid [Neuromins(tm)]) 15 mg; Grape Seed Extract 15 mg; Directions: For ages 5 and up. Take as follows, depending on child’s weight: under 75 lb — 1 to 2 chewable wafers daily 75 to 125 lb— 2 to 3 chewable wafers daily over 125 lb— 3 to 4 chewable wafers daily.
